I've noticed a lot of new friends joining me on social media, Hi! WELCOME! I'll do my best to keep things interesting for you whether it's stories from being on stage or sharing what life is like when I'm home doing the "wife thing." I love reading all of your messages and comments and I try to reply to each and every one of you. I get asked TONS of questions ranging from how I got started in the music business to, "What color lipstick are you're wearing?" Some of you were brought to this page because you've like and supported my music for a while now (THANK YOU!) and some of you found your way here through my instagram posts - either way, I thought it'd be fun to open up a little and share some random tidbits about myself that you may not have known! If you can relate to any of these little trinkets, be sure to COMMENT below and introduce yourself!

I wish I knew how to... Sew! I can fix little holes or sew on a buttons but I was given a sewing machine and I never learned how to use it... although, I have no idea what I would make - I just feel like it's a skill I need to have!

Night Owl or Early Bird - Early bird, I get up every morning at 6:30a before my husband. I like to wake up and have the quiet house to myself while I sip my coffee and read my bible. But on the weekends, I sleep in!

Podcasts I'm listening to right now - Oprah's Super Soul Conversations, This Nashville Life, and That Sounds Fun.

#1 Bucket List to-do... to sing at the Grand Ol' Opry.

Drink of Choice - I usually stick to water and try to drink about 72oz. a day. But, there are some food/drink combinations I have to have... like Dr. Pepper & pizza or steak and red wine!

Favorite spot to eat in Nashville? I LOVE all types food and trying new restaurants so it's kind of hard to choose just one place, but there is a spot in the 12 South neighborhood called Taqueria Del Sol and I LOVE their enchiladas... and margaritas!

If I wasn't a singer, I'd be... something really cool, like a brain surgeon or a meteorologist. Or a detective!

Bad habit I wish I could break... worrying too much!

A Valuable Lesson You've Learned... Whew! A lot! If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all... don't burn bridges... going out of your way to help or make someone else feel good is always worth it... be kind to yourself.

#1 vacation destination on your list... Israel, I'd love to take a tour of the Holy land!

Best relationship advice... pray together and for each other.

Craziest thing I've ever done... I'm not really adventurous or into high adrenaline activities... but one time, when we first moved to Nashville, we were driving down Music Row when we noticed a fender bender involving a Ferrari. As we drove by we realized that it was Scott Borchetta (Taylor Swift). I got out of the car and after making sure no one was hurt from the accident - I introduced myself, gave him a copy of my CD and told him that I hoped he would call me. I guess it's not really crazy, but for me, I was sweating and trying not to throw up. Oh, and he didn't call.

Starbucks Order... Short Cafe Misto with non-fat milk and a little mocha sauce (+ a large water with no ice.)

What do you miss? The days before social media... even though I also LOVE using it!

Coolest celebrity moment... Living in Nashville, we see country music stars out and about all the time but the coolest was hanging out backstage after a show with Dustin Lynch and his band. We all just sat around and laughed and got to know each other. Dustin and his crew were really down to earth and so friendly! I also saw Taylor Swift at a red light one time.

You'd be surprised to know... I'm actually really shy and like to be alone. I'm an only child so I'm used to being on my own and independent so sometimes too many people overwhelm me. I'm also terrified to have any attention on me in a small setting, like a birthday party. But being on stage in front of hundreds of strangers doesn't bother me at all!

Weird thing about me... I count when I walk. But I don't always start with the number one. I know... weird. Don't ask.

What did you want to be when you were younger? Not a singer! I loved singing and performing but in my mind that wasn't a "real" job because I didn't think it was possible. I loved pretending to be lots of different things but I always really wanted to be a wife and mommy.

You're having a dinner party - you can invite 5 dinner guests (alive or dead), who do you invite? Jesus, Dolly Parton, Steve Harvey, My Grandmother who I'm named for but never met, and my husband, John.

Favorite way to unwind... a long, hot bath with bath salts and a deep cleansing face mask.

Best concert you've ever been to... this is tough because I've been to a lot of concerts and they were all great for different reasons. But, I saw Garth Brooks last year and I have NEVER experienced a concert like that before. It was mind blowing!

My parents almost named me... Sidney. Or Adam if I had been a boy.

My first job was... a hostess at a Wild Wing Cafe.

Food I can't get enough of... Cheeseburgers & French Fries! Especially from In & Out. I'm always craving a protein-style, animal-style double double with fries and a chocolate shake! Gosh, I want one now!

Craziest thing to ever happen while I was on stage... One time, I was performing at a private event and two grandma's got in a fist fight on the dance floor.
